Insurance customers pay their premiums either in three ways: (1) by dialing *745#, (2) using Equitel’s My Money on the STK, or (3) by setting up a debit order. You choose which way to pay when you purchase the product.
The easiest way to pay is to dial *745#, select Client Services, and select Make Payment. You can choose to pay for one month or for 6 months at a time. You’ll be prompted to enter your PIN and you’ll receive confirmation of payment.
You can also pay with My Money by going into the Equitel Menu, Select My Money, Select EazzyPay, Select Paybill, Enter the Business Number (745000). When prompted to Enter Account Number, you should input your Equitel mobile number. Finally, input the amount for either a one-month or six-month premium, and then confirm the payment by entering your PIN.
With both of these options, you are responsible for sending your payment before it is due. You can check your payment due date in the *745# menu. You will also receive an SMS notification before premiums are due.
Alternatively, you can set up a debit order to have your premium automatically pulled once a month from your Equity Bank account. To set this up, please visit the Bancassurance Officer at your nearest Equity Bank branch.
